Tam Lin - Diary 26/6/26

Hello. It's been a moment. I haven't written an update about what I am up to recently, not because I have not been busy, but because in the past I have only shared when I have something BIG to share.

But I've found this is not the reality of being an artist in 2026. Achievements come in bits and clusters. So I figured I'd share what is happening with Tam Lin more casually and consistently.

1. The Review

Most exciting news upfront: I just had my first major print review in the September 2026 edition of The Wire magazine!

2. The Show

Recently I played a pair of shows at Iklectik Art Lab, a space I've been wanting to perform at for most of my music career. This performances has developed into a show I'll be performing on 11th October for CRUX at New Rivers Studios. Come through if you can!

3. More things in the works

A few months ago, I was commissioned by the Outlands Network, alongside musician, curator and artist Rowan Jones, to produce a new collaborative piece. We have been workshopping this over the last month, building a new selection of musical motifs, dramaturgical flourishes, and costume concepts for a show in spring of 2027, where we will explore corporate mindfulness and AI through the lens of body horror.
