Dealing with conceptual boundaries and hybrids on a conceptual level, it is unsurprising that my work is often multimedia, emerging as a sound collage, an installation, or a transmedia piece spread across multiple digital platforms.

Gene Splicer
Responding to the gene-splicing technology CRISPR, and the pig-human and monkey-human hybrids it has produced, I produced “Gene Splicer”, an algorithmic composition using Max/MSP and modular synthesis. I aimed to explore the balance between technology and animal in a time in which medicine and human impacts on bio-diversity greatly impact the state of all life on the planet.
